Good for the price. Needs to be flattened on Glas and sandpaper before use. Gets even cheap knives a mirror finish on the edge. Would buy a 5000/10000 stone for a complete finish. 3000/8000 is good around combo but the step is large.

very nice blade sharpener - already been using it in the past but never with the pedestal. The rubber underneath ain't really useful on slippery surface - still wobbles and moves as you sharpen the knife. would recommend to but one with the correction stone (not available at this seller) as the stone itself may have a bit higher edges so that shaping causes holes in the knife-edge. otherwise very well recommended.

Just received the whet stones, they were pretty well packed and in good condition. A couple of tiny chips on one or 2 edges nothing major. Tried out the 400 and 1000 grit sharpening my edc work knife. Did a good job bring it back to a nice edge. Not sure how accurate the grits are, they seem a little different in texture to others i've had. But other than that, no complaints. For the money its a great set.
